He was dealing with a family emergency and still called back. I gave him all the information about me and the water heater. Texted back 10 minutes later to give me an appointment window the next day early morning. He gave me simple instructions to shut down the system to prevent further damage to our home. Richter Plumbing was amazing! They were very quick to reply and check a leak outside our tenants' house, gave a fair, realistic written estimate, and did very careful, thorough work: hours of digging, replacing with good materials, filling in again very cleanly, and insulating the pipes for cold weather. Jeff worked hard and finished the job more quickly than he had thought it might require, so the final bill was far less than their estimate (and another company's estimate). Jeff even went back afterwards to check a possible drip (it was actually fine). We're absolutely thrilled, and definitely want to hire them again in the future!

Note: We had asked 2 known, trusted plumbers (all too busy), and 1 unknown plumber (who required a hefty fee just for giving an estimate, which worried me). Richter was a lifesaver for us!

Jeff and Christine started their business after he worked with a larger plumbing company, wanting to make quality plumbing repairs affordable for more people. Their vision is awesome and their careful, quick-response, conscientious, honest work was superb!

Of course our kitchen sink drain plugged up on a Friday morning, 2 days before a big birthday party. We tried clearing it ourselves, disassembling the piping under the sink and running a snake, but the clog was too far for us to get to.

Jeff arrived within a couple hours of contacting him, snaked the drain all the way to our septic tank and had our drain clear and flowing within 30 minutes. He was kind, prompt, understanding, and relatable. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Jeff is truly my plumbing angel! I can not sing his praises enough. My kids' shower started leaking downstairs into my kitchen (ugh) and between work and life it took me 3 months to realize that I was in way over my head trying to fix it. I saw a recommendation on the Lake Stevens community page and sent Jeff a message. He was out the next day to take a look and give me an estimate... I was going to attempt to fix it myself, Jeff walked me through everything I would need. After about a week I accepted defeat and messaged Jeff again. It was Christmas day, I was not expecting a response until the following day, but I got a message back and was scheduled for the next day.
